Mat classes are a series of floor exercises that develop core strength,
flexibility, coordination, balance and mental focus. Pilates promotes
better posture, muscle control and strength by re-educating the body
and mind to work together towards developing complete body fitness and
awareness. Pilates mat classes in particular help alleviate low back
pain and deal with injuries resulting from repetitive stress, overcompensation
