Holistic Needs Based Clinic

          Upaya Center for Wellbeing, a charitable, nonprofit holistic health center, is in the process of implementing a low cost holistic health care clinic, scheduled to open in the Early Fall of 2003. The clinic will provide comprehensive holistic health care services to underserved and low-income communities in the Bay Area at reduced rates or at no cost to eligible participants. Holistic health practitioners will work in collaboration to provide quality preventive, supportive and acute health care services to low income individuals and families who otherwise would not be able to afford such services. State of California licensed “portal of entry” doctors will serve as gatekeepers providing appropriate recommendations for complementary care based on patient needs and knowledge of collaborative effect for optimal healing outcome.

In order to provide quality comprehensive health care services to underserved families and individuals in the Bay Area at little or no cost, the Upaya Center provides financial assistance to eligible clinic participants through the Upaya Health Scholarship Fund.
