Family Practitioners
Family and Pediatric Care
State
qualified and licensed portal of entry providers - Doctors of Chiropractic
and Doctors of Acupuncture – as well as our other comprehensive
practitioners – Homeopaths, Herbalists and Ayurvedic Doctors -
provide comprehensive health care (regardless of symptom or condition)
to patients of all ages. These practitioners serve the role of the traditional
“family doctor” – attendant at birth and throughout
all of life’s challenges and changes. With a family centered approach
a primary focus becomes care for children. Continual and consistent
health care for children has the multiple and synergistic effects of
prevention, health facilitation, early detection and education. It is
widely accepted and is the goal of organizations such as the World Health
Organization, the United Nations, and the American Medical Association
to provide comprehensive care to children. Upaya Center for Wellbeing
understands that education and early response to imbalance may eradicate
further challenges (which often become more severe than the original
challenge) for the individual and allows for greater quality of life
outcomes.
