Atava Garcia Swiecicki Atava Garcia Swiecicki - My vision is of a society where all people have access to sources of healing that honor the body and spirit of each individual. I create healing sessions that weave together three powerful modalities: massage, herbal remedies, and flower essences. My work inspires your connection to both the wonder of your own body, and to the healing power of plants. I have been studying and practicing healing arts since 1988. A graduate of Stanford University, and the Acupressure Institute, I have also studied with traditional healers, Karyn Sanders, and at the Flower Essence Society. I have taught at the Northern California Women's Herbal Symposium, the Bay Area Herbal Symposium, and have been a guest on KPFA's "The Herbal Highway". Currently, I am enrolled in the Master's program at Naropa University in Oakland, where I am studying the traditional healing practices of my Mexican, Polish, and Hungarian ancestors. |
